.. where did you go ' what did you do ?

Reports are coming in thick and fast from Destination, or should I say wet and wicked. By all accounts it was a variety of experience.

Remember Obscure is built as a historical document for 'our' culture. We have been here over ten years. Obviously the wedge gets thinner, but it goes all the way back to the dawn of the dancefloor in WGT.

Speaking of which: Cuba Carnival was wild and wet's. Much fun and trouble had by all. Apparently Salsa dancing is the rage but I did get warnings about the Snakes and Ladders. The infallible Fat Freddy's Drop managed to bring the love in through the rain .. . and are the Ill Phonics really sultry ??

Ack Ack .. and Two Tribes ran smooth despite the missing Velvet. Also' not news but Timmy and Greg were great on the big sounds at Coast .. what would you expect!

Anyway if you missed all that ' this week should keep you on in flight.

Splore 2004 is the first place you should be. As far as we are concerned this event replaces where the best_of_the_gathering left off. More love and respect to the crew for establishing a phat vibe that is set to rock the party right!

A little pick for the 'crew' minded DATA:BASS are having a fundraiser for their goodness, get along and you get a CD of local behavior.

Don't lose track of the date tough, as Roc Raida, Dj Craze & Mc Armanni will be in the area soon' to school your skills in Hip Hop and all its flavors.

On that topic see some ' Battle Tales from the latest MC throw-down in Queenstown. Down here Tardis has developed their own little slice of true school culture away from the jam and glare of hype-hype.

So have I said enough' ... NZ fits it's norm and is brimming to the top with diversity and mayhem. Each element crafted and created with energy maintained on the dancefloor, so your feet make the count ' huh

And as per 'Obscure' is out the back getting the word, finding the truth and generally having a funny old time, loving the beat, the rhythm and the culture.
