Universal Music New Zealand To Release Official Album For The Gathering

'Universal, Kog Transmissions and The Gathering have teamed up to bring New Zealand electronic music out of the shadows and into the foreground as "the next big thing'. The Gathering CD is a culmination of the last 5 years of growth in New Zealand dance culture and shows that local electronica has truly come of age. (The album will be advertised though and extensive campaingn on TV4 throughoput December).

"The compilation encompasses a reange of electronic styles, mixed together by Kog Transmissions into a fluid journey that takesx you through the music that makes The Gathering not only the best, but also New Zealand's biggest dance party. Fourteen tracks that will definitely put New Zealand on the international dance map, and also privide a great listening adventure in any environment, covering the spectrum of Dub, Techno, House, Drum & Bass, Trance, Breakbeat and beyond.
