Sick Cycle is a Dark Industrial Drum and Bass, & Ambient Liquid Drum n Bass group from Christchurch, New Zealand. Sick Cycle's frontman Michael West or 'Westy' has been producing under the name Sick Cycle for more than six years, and decided mid 2005 that it was time to branch out and include other artists and perspectives into his music.
The third underground release from Sick Cycle - 2006's "Meditation" - is a mixture of heavy distorted Technical Itch or Noisia Style Drum and Bass, and Mellower High Contrast or DJ Marky style drum n bass. This balance of 2 definitive styles is what makes Sick Cycle so unique to the drum and bass scene worldwide.
