Sounds From Aotearoa
Furthering LOOP's vision to take Aotearoa/New Zealand's finest and funkiest music to the world, with LOOP Select 003 we present to both home and international markets our favourite selections from Aotearoa's audio output over recent years.
The third instalment in our series of quarterly time capsules of New Zealand's creative culture, LOOP Select 003 will be the first LOOP Recordings Aot(ear)oa record to be released outside of New Zealand, being shipped into Australia through Creative Vibes and released in the UK and France later in the year through Timewarp Distribution (UK) and Oceania Records (France). A retrospective of recent recordings and releases by Aotearoa's leading urban and electronic musicians, LOOP Select 003 doubles as a comprehensive catch-up collectors' set for LOOP's existing New Zealand audiences, and an introductory overview of our nation's top talent for those based abroad.
