Naughty But Nice
Friday 15 May, @ Valve, Vivian Street

featuring NZs top overall DJ for 1998 as judged by Re:Mix

NAUGHTY BUT NICE is a bargain night of spellbinding house, furiously fornicating beats and tantalising 4/4 tricktronics courtesy of DJs LEMON, K-TEL & FILTER.

DJ LEMON has been voted the overall winner of the 1998 Re:Mix magazine New Zealand DJ tape competition. Winning the house section as well as the overall award (a $2500 Vestax mixer !!) from over 50 entries, Re:Mix had this to say about DJ Lemon in their latest issue:

"Lemon won the house category, and due to the immense amount of passion, love & commitment that he has poured into the New Zealand, and especially the Wellington underground music scene over the years, we think it`s well deserved.... (he) lays down a faultless selection of pure, deep, underground New York house and garage that conveys his passion for the music he loves ...

Your chance to catch not only one but three of NZs top house DJs in full flight is Friday 15th May, when DJ Lemon joins forces with LOOP (aka DJs Filter & K-Tel on 4 decks) for a night of pure undiluted four on the floor phat -jakking house music.

NAUGHTY BUT NICE kicks off at 10PM in the revamped restylised VALVE bar in the centre of Wellingtons small but well located red-light district. Tickets are ridiculously priced at $5 and as the capacity is limited, we suggest you arrive as the doors open to avoid any disappointment.

NAUGHTY BUT NICE is a strictly steamy R20 Welli house music affair, and latecomers will definetly miss out ! .
