Held overnight on January 17th 2004 (Wellington
Anniversary weekend), Wonderland is now in its fourth
year. Over 700 people from around the country
attended Wonderland 2003, which was universally agreed
to be one of the best events ever held in Wellington.
This year tickets are limited to 1000 and
are expected to sell out.
Wonderland features 5 zones, with a wide
variety of DJs and live acts from around the country.
The event primarily supports New Zealand artists but
some overseas acts are also featured. Wonderland is
set in a stunning valley location near Upper Hutt
among native bush and huge trees. The stage
production is second to none, with high quality sound,
amazing lighting, artwork, the biggest laser seen
outdoors in Wellington, live visual effects and more.
Wonderland is a completely unique event, there simply
isn't anything else like it.
