The Black Seeds return to Wellington's Indigo Bar - scene of one of 2001's best parties, 'Hotdog' , to begin their New Zealand winter tour.

Since the success of their debut album 'Keep On Pushing', The Black Seeds have been taking their reggae/funk flavours to the rest of the country with a hugely successful nationwide summer tour that included The Gathering, the Rippon Festival, the Raglan Reggae Fest and the National Orientation Tour alongside Salmonella Dub.

And their hard work's paid off! 'Keep On Pushing' has sold several thousand copies, earning the Black Seeds a reputation as one of New Zealand's most exciting new bands. With the planned release of 'Keep On Pushing' in Australia and Europe, a tour of Australia and the release of a second album later in the year, the future is looking bright for these Wellington boys.

The Black Seeds will be joined by special guests, Raglan's own Cornerstone Roots.

This seven-piece group combines a mixture of soul, deep roots and Pacific flavours to produce a special blend of Aotearoa reggae music.

The Mash Up also presents the unbeatable reggae sounds of DJ Duke Willis from Sounds Almighty Aotearoa.

And to finish the night in style we present the Monday Night Matterhorn classic, 'Soul Emergency'. Front man d.j Toby Nairobi will once again transform Indigo into the ultimate disco dance hall with only the finest selections of premium funk and soul.
