Sift Heavy is back again with some extra special live guests , the Sons of Puha, dropping in to the basement to dish up their own special brand of bro-fi soul for your ear holes.
The Sons of Puha (featuring Pet on Bass, Adi on MPC, guitar and vocals, Aaron Tokona on guitar, and the lovely Lisa Preston on vocals) will be mixing together Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz & more to create soulful grooves straight out of the swapacrate with lyrics so fresh they'll be cooked on the night.
This talented crew will be sharing the deep dark depths of Good Luck with the Grumpy Old Men With Beards, Zen & Duncan, so be ready for a night of entertainment. Think of the two Grumpy Old Men up in the Balcony of the Muppet Show Chilling with the Muppet band...
The Sons of Puha are joining in on what is quickly becoming the most infamous DJ jam session in Wellington, where anything goes (and you never know who may turn up with records in hand!). Come witness the fitness as the Sons of Puha join Sift Heavy residents Zen and Duncan in the intimate setting of Cuba Street's Good Luck Bar this Friday.
Sift Heavy focuses on music that has come from the right place and therefore should take you to the right place - fresh beats and tasty treats covering whatever genre, just as long as the music has heart, head and soul.
