Saturday August 28th,

Fresh from a tour of London, promoting the release of his Album in the UK, Rhian Sheehan plays in Wellington for the first time since the release of Tiny Blue Biosphere. This gig, at the best bar in Welly, coincides with the release of the video for 'Sunshine' directed by Peter Tonks.

Rhian Sheehan and his crew put on some of the most visually and aurally stimulating shows in Aotearoa, with widescreen cinematic delights from a group of some of our most talented Visual Artists, Xulf and Mike Busy.

Rhian Sheehan has enlisted a group of musicians who complement his music live, including the ethereal Jess Chambers, flute player Kirsten Johnstone, and Jeramiah Ross (module) playing keys and effects.

Support comes in the form of Module, aka Jeramiah Ross, who is on the verge of releasing his Debut album. He's already had a couple of hits on the B-net, including his collaboration with Paul Mclaney- "love and not the lesson". His atmospherics, funky beats, 80's synths and Modules' over the top stage persona never fail to make people take notice and start shuffling their feet....

On the Decks will be Mu- the man with the beats behind Fat Freddies Drop, and Detroit Techno Legend, now paraparaumu resident- Recloose. Both of these DJ's are also almost ready to release albums, so you're bound to preview some new beats from these boys, and you'll dance on into the morning....
