Papa Washington Trio - Live

He's had releases on Paper Recordings-Manchester, Undaround Therapy Muzik-Chicago and his own Subconscious Label, he's been collected and selected by everyone from Xpress 2, Lottie, Ian Pooley, Danny Tenaglia, DJ Q, Silicone Soul and the U.S West Coast house fraternity to soul brother / house god Roy Davis Jnr and Naked Music Producer Mark Andrus.

With British music press accolades suggesting the Paper Recordings album Trio De Janeiro was a contender for house album of the year ( 02 ), a best selling Paper Recordings 12", inclusion on compilations as diverse as Fabric Live to The Xpress 2 essential Mix, Djulz, NRK Kickin, Czech club collections, South African underground selections to local mixes from Inmusic ( Soane ) & OurHouse ( Tim Phin ), it was inevitable he'd eventually make it to our shores.

He's here for a live on laptop with keyboards and percussion tour of New Zealand from mid June, beginning at Coast bar & lounge, Auckland.
