Stepping away from his long term post as part of production / performance trio Electric Wire Hustle and with the forthcoming international release of his solo debut album through UK label BBE, Myele Manzanza assembles his colourful collective of creative cohorts, The Eclectic, for a throw down at Matterhorn before he sets off on his first solo international tour.
Taking Myele's album, One, out for a spin and turning out a perfectly roasted blend of live afro, funk and hip hop will be Rachel Fraser (Funkommunity), Vanessa Stacey and Myele's dad, Sam Manzanza on vocals, Dan Ryland (Funkommunity / Home Brew) on guitar, Ed Zuccollo on keys and Matt Dal Din on bass, all wrapped up and cocooned in the stylish environs of Wellington's favourite hang, Matterhorn.
