I'm sure many lucky Wellingtonians remember Subterainia back at the start of the year. Rave of the year right? Right? Well, it was bloody awesome anyway. About 3000 people, 3 zones, and great venue, and an even better vibe convinced us all that these guys were on to it.

About 3000 people, 3 zones, and great venue, and an even better vibe convinced us all that these guys were on to it.
Well, they're back with Hullabaloo. Not content just to match their earlier performance, they bring us 18 djs and 5 live acts performing in over 6 zones (!) in Pringle Avenue, off Wakefield St and opposite the Michael Fowler Carpark. Not the same venue as Subterainia (which was the Anvil house carpark), but close enough for comfort, and by the sounds of things pretty damn huge.
Tickets available from Firm, Flipside, and Chelsea I think. Usualish places anyway ;) it's only on the poster and not on the little flyer in my hand. Anyway, they're $20 and there are some available for "more" (probably $25) on the door.
For the students among us, it's gonna be a great way to celebrate the years end (it's about time) and for the rest, well, let's just see if the original Subterainia can't be topped.
