Groove Lounge is a fortnightly Saturday evening of smooth, bumpin' funky house and breaks at the brand new Attic Lounge, built above the legendary Subnine nightspot.
Grant Kaye from MUNTFM's Da Mix Plate will be spinning a mix of California-style deep and funky house music with a touch of mid-tempo funky breaks, electro and techfunk.
This night is about the music, not the scene. No smoke machines, lasers, or overpriced drinks, just good friends, and great beats played on a crisp, booming soundsystem in an intimate, relaxed, classy venue that's as far away from the "see or be seen" crowd as possible.
For free entry, pick up a flyer from the usual spots around Wellington, get in touch via MySpace (http://myspace.com/grooveloungeattic) or send an email to "grooveloungeattic@gmail.com"
- SPECIAL GUESTS**********
