A journey through multiple genres of dance music, an eclectic, synaptic stimulation of deep, primal, tribal grooves twisting, morphing and evolving in new enticing directions, taking us back to a future-sonic wonderland.
Held at the beautiful outdoor rural property called Sanctuary, Pukehou, Central Hawkes Bay
A place for all to share and enjoy, where you can lose your self and find your being, in the magic of space and sound.

Future Primitives is a zero waste initiative, encouraging us all to do our part in the creation of a better place for each other.
We are working superhard to make sure whoever is coming to this is going to have a 24 hour stonkingly wicked new years eve. We are gathering together some of the best dj's who are guaranteed to move your feets, lift your spirits and put the rave and happy in your soul. We have sourced an amazing warm and phat sound system that will give you eargasm. Lighting and lasers to dazzle your retinas and open the rainbows in your soul. Fire, dance and medieval performers to enhance your future primitive. there will be available more than enough of the tastiest food and drink to fill the belly and to quench the primal fires of your soul.
So dig deep within your imagination and adorn yourself in colours, markings and textures and join us for 24hrs in a celebration of music, art, nature, community, life and the universe.
We shall have the earth beneath our feet, sunshine and stars above, a big fat sound and lighting system feeding our senses with aural and visual beauty served up by some of the finest chewn chefs to come out of the sound kitchen.
