"... it is no surprise that Fat Freddys Drop can’t be boxed. Jazz, soul, house and techno have all influenced the band ...This is why it comes as a surprise when mid-gig the band belt out some of their forthcoming tunes and what emerges is a move to jungle territory. Combing techno and what seems like a stampede of animals, this is definitely new stuff.
