Enter the Dragon returns for a fresh installment of twisted high tech soul and future funk from some of New Zealand's leading and most innovative Djs and performers, once again pushing the clubbing boundaries.
From Matt Drake's high velocity 3 decks and effects performance, to Darin King going head to head with Silverbeat with a 4 turntables tech mashup, to the much anticipated debut live performance from one of our leading dance producers Simon Flower. As the owner of New Zealand's first vinyl dance label, the critically aclaimed Nurture Recordings, Simon's many vinyl releases have been playlisted by the likes of Carl Craig, Andy Weatherall, Ben Sims and Basic Channel amongst many more. His unique blend of jacking beats, lush chords and infectious groove is one performance not to be missed!
In the Bar, we welcome back Simon Beesting, fresh from his mini-tour of Germany. We've also succeeded in dragging Halogen Girl from the studio. From Top of the Pops to the UK club charts, local breaks don Timmy Schumacher and finally we welcome Angela Fiskin's Aural Trash.
