E Tu! Is a family friendly free concert with fine music and free speech focused on the Terrorism Suppression Act, it's history, implications, global context and it's recent use during the so called 'anti-terror raids' and the arrests of the 'Urewera 17'.

The event features Little Bushman, Ladi 6, Olmecha Supreme, Upper Hutt Posse, Homefire Burning, Hikoikoi, Emma Paki, Spartacus R, Klezmer Rebs and more. There will be food and information stalls, children’s entertainment and a dedicated forum area with guest speakers such as Nicky Hagar, Nandor Tanczos and Teanau Tuiono.

‘E Tu!’ gives Wellingtonians an opportunity to be informed and counted in their disapproval of the TSA, it’s recent use surrounding the arrests of the Urewera 17, how it affects our society and how it may continue to be used by the police.

‘E Tu!’ clearly states there is no need for a Terrorism Act and calls for its repeal as we already have appropriate laws.

We do not need a separate law to cover crimes of political or religious motive, nor punish them more severely.

We do not want an act that threatens our democratic right to question our government's legislations and policies or criminalises protestors and their movements.

‘E Tu!’ states that the Urewera 17 should not have been arrested and demands both government and police accountability and transparency in their operations.
