Dubodega's 10th Birthday

The Radio Active 89FM Homebass Crew presents... Dubodega - with your crew Funktion, Grasshopper, Puppy, TopKnot & MC Imon Star and special guest DJ Lemon.

Friday Evening Aug 31st, Bar Bodega - Wellington City at the special time of Midnight - 5am!!

5 dollars on the door (cheap because we like it that way!)

Exactly one year ago Bodega celebrated it's 9th Birthday with The Homebass Crew and The Black Seeds with a record turnout that made it officially the biggest night Bodega has ever had.

Since then the bar with nine lives has successfully aged another year! The Motorway threat is still looming - the days are still numbered. The Homebass crew since then have appeared separately or in full at The Gathering 2001, One Love 2001 & still continues the monthly Toastie sessions at Bodega.

Of course you can catch us live on Radio Active 89FM Thursday evenings 11pm until late. Special live guests on the show this year have so far included Dubmission (Dubmission records UK) & MC's Culture Dan & Jeremiah (Jamaica).

For Dubodega's 10th Birthday we have set aside 5 hours (12-5am), 4 DJ's, 3 Decks, 2 mixers & 1 Sound boy as the full Homebass Crew sound-system. Homebass MC Imon Star hosts and toasts the nights festivities and raises the vibe! Special guest DJ and 'Minster Of Reggae Affairs in NZ' comes the one and only DJ Lemon!

We celebrate the longest running Wellington Bar establishment once again in fine style - the Toastie way! Be in early as last years edition completely sold-out.
