He has been at the forefront of the genre since it's inception in the early 90's and continues to push it to new unexplored territories today. DOC SCOTT formed the legendary METALHEADZ label with GOLDIE and maintains regular DJ appearances at THE SUNDAY SESSIONZ in London. He also runs 31 RECORDS a label that continues releasing tunes of unsurpassable quality that are generally at the top of any Drum and Bass fans want list. DOC SCOTT is no slouch when it comes to producing tunes himself, though his output is limited, when he does produce a tune you can guarantee it will be labeled a 'classic'.

These days DOC SCOTT prefers to let his skills behind the decks do the talking, with a hectic touring schedule that takes him all around the globe. Without a doubt he is one of the Top drum and bass DJ's in the world. His sets provididing a vision of where Drum and Bass will be sometime into the future. This will be DOC SCOTTS 4th visit to New Zealand and his 3rd appearance in Wellington. Ask anyone who caught him any of these previous times and they will tell you these visits have all been defining moments for the NZ drum and bass scene.
