Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance / UK)

Matterhorn & Strange Behaviour are excited to bring you Dicky Trisco, one of the busiest and best DJs on the international circuit, for his very first Wellington show as part of the Disco Deviance world tour.

Producer, remixer, record label head honcho and 3 times Olympic Gin & Tonic champion, DT’s addicted to the way music connects people and makes for better days. A night owl since the day he was born, he has devoted his life to mastering the ways of the night and the art of the discotheque.

DT has been at the heart of the disco and boogie resurgence through his output with the big hitting Disco Deviance label, home to our very own Frank Booker, and through his edits and production work. Most recently DT has been focusing on producing tracks for his new imprint Paradise Row alongside good mate Pete Herbert, and on high profile remixes for Belle & Sebastian, Faze Action and Tensnake amongst others.

As a disc jockey, DT packs a little bit of everything into his sets and is committed to the idea that music and club nights should be all about joy. Some people might call it having a good time.

Whether it be beach parties, after parties, underground disco dens, supper clubs, super clubs, hippie markets or festivals, DT is always ready to rock the dance floor and has done so all around the world with regular tours to Japan, China, South America, Europe, Australia and the UK, and annual appearances at events like Festival No 6, Electric Elephant, Glastonbury and at We Love in Ibiza.
