BASSTEPPA SOUNDSYSTEM IS LAUNCHED
Auckland selectors Big Matt and the Chaplin launch the Bassteppa Soundsystem on AK-town at the Wyndham Bowling Club on Thursday 27th of September. Stepping up to the fore in support will be the perrenial MC Bobbylon, experienced selectors Ruffian (Dubwise Chch) and Selecto and generally making what sounds good sound even better, Peter Mac of Dub Asylum on the mix.
Following in the footsteps of established NZ crews like the Bureau De Bashment and The Roots Foundation, the Bassteppa Sound has a policy of delivering a "Full Spectrum Beat Selection", a multi-genre mash-down that's sure to please.
Kicking off at 10pm, both rooms at the WBC will be witness to choice cuts of vibe and rhythm with decks in both areas and selectors shuttling to and fro. Look out for Bobbylon and Peter Mac in the main room, calling the shots and dubbing the beats.
And all of this for just Five Dollars!
Watch out for upcoming dates with the Bassteppa Soundsystem at the Wyndham Bowling Club including a Massive Soundclash sometime in October and something extra special around Christmas time!
