12-2am B-LOW vs SEAN (BF - WG)

Warming up the venue will be BF's premiere bad bwoys laying it down in a back to back style. Their work behind the counters of Flipside and Slow Boat ensure they get access to the freshest promos and new releases. You can catch the 2 of them on Wellington's leading drum and bass show, Future Funk, ever Friday 9 - 11pm.

2-3.30am CONCORD DAWN (KOG - AK)

New Zealand's most prolific Drum and Bass producers bring their Heavyweight tech sound south. With 2 albums already released under the KOG banner Concord Dawn are making some serious progress on the world drum and bass stage. Their first self-titled album and then their second release 'Disturbance' smashed all records on the B-Net top 10. Since the release of 'Disturbance', Concord Dawn have been gigging relentlessly. Their 3 appearances in Wellington this year have been off the hook, especially the 'Disturbance' album release party which saw an absolute roadblock of 600 people crammed into Subnine to check their sounds. Now with their tunes finally seeing release on vinyl in the UK and back home
the stakes have been raised even further.

3-4.30am RIDDLE (AK)

Finally making his Bass Frontiers debut is the one like Riddle. Getting into mixing at age 16, Riddle first got into English Rave/ Breakbeat and then started buying Jungle in 1992. Nine years later he is a very well established Auckland Drum and Bass DJ. Before moving to Auckland in 1993, Riddle had played many early Raves in Christchurch and has since DJed at pretty much every major Drum & Bass gig in Auckland including the early "Drum and Basswise" and "Jungle Soundclash" gigs and The Breaks (Where he was a resident for the entire 3 years alongside Presha, Aaron and 48sonic). He also has his own weekly radio show on George FM, Aucklands premiere dance radio station.

4.30am-close DJ MEDELIN (CHCH)

We are proud to once again welcome back the DJ Medelin. This will be his first BF appearance in 2001 after he appeared twice on the decks at Studionine and then at The New Frontier 02 in 2000. Medelin is resident at Scientific's weekly drum and bass sessions in Christchurch. He has also supported a number of the drum and bass internationals who have made it to Christchurch over the past few years. Expect Medelin to lay down the typical upfront Christchurch styles.

and HOSTED BY MC ANTIC (BF - WG)

The original Bass Frontiers MC. Antic has spent the last year in Sydney taking their drum and bass scene by storm. Now back in Wellington for a brief spell before jetting back to Sydney to continue his domination. Antic has developed his own original style and his time in Sydney has added a very professional edge to his MC'ing. Whilst there he became resident at all of Sydney's leading drum and bass nights most notably at Home, Sydney's largest club. He also recently MC'ed alongside Klute during his recent visit to Wellington.
