After two recent photographic exhibitions in Wellington focused purely on 'dance parties' (One being included in FotoFest '98), the biggest is yet to come

For all those not acquainted with The Gathering, it is a 2-day visual and aural extravaganza held at Canaan Downs, Nelson and it celebrates the coming of the new year with a wide variety of Performers, DJ's, VJ's, visual art and 48 hours of non-stop dance music.

This generates a crowd of around 10,000 revellers who are there to be immersed in what The Gathering has to offer.

The Gathering is a festival of freedom, dance music and participation. Your presence creates The Gathering"

This exhibition will include a large variety of [colour] photographs ranging from the set-up days before the event, through to the 48 hours of non-stop madness, then finishing with the clearing out and packing down of all equipment. A 'visual diary' for those who did not get to experience The Gathering for themselves.
